Tabor Castle, in Neuhaus am Klausenbach, is one of the most beautiful and romantic places in south Burgenland. It lies in the midst of the gentle hills of the Raab Nature Reserve, which covers the region where the borders of Austria, Hungary and Slovenia meet.
Tabor Castle is one of the oldest buildings in the Jennersdorf district and was constructed in 1469 by Styrian mercenary leader Ulrich Pessnitzer. The construction imitates Hussite fortifications in the Czech town of Tábor.
