Draisine tours
Ever pedalled your way along a railway line? This romantic 23-km railway line from the Blaufränkisch winegrowing area to Oberpullendorf introduces you to the beautiful scenery of central Burgenland.
The draisines travel from Horitschon-Neckenmarkt station to Oberpullendorf on even days, and in the other direction on odd ones. Travelling at a gentle pace the journey takes around three hours. But don’t worry if you are looking to pick up the pace — you can overtake. Simply lift the trolley out of the tracks and off you go!
There is secure bike parking at each station. The return journey can either be made by public transport or using a special taxi service.
