“Water experience”, for example, explores the underwater world in detail, animals are fished out of the lake and examined under the microscope. In the “Salty Paradise”, everything revolves around the salt pans and the characteristics that make these areas so unique. With a spotting scope and binoculars, “Little birds...” sees young adventurers set off in search of the national park’s feathered residents. “A sea of reeds” offers young explorers the chance to discover the wide reed bed of Lake Neusiedl, which is home to a variety of living creatures. And because reeds are not only excellent building materials for birds, homemade reed boats set sail during this celebration. Vast meadows and pastures are at the center of “The Puszta”, however the focus is on the smaller inhabitants of this extensive habitat: Insects and arachnids.
It’s a tough decision and the birthday parties are usually over far too soon. Fortunately, birthdays come round quickly among friends and there is always something new to discover at the national park.
