The Seewinkel is, quite literally, Austria’s vegetable garden. Superb quality vegetables flourish here because of more than 300 days of sunshine per year and the mild Pannonian climate. Without doubt the products mainly grown by Seewinkel farmers are tomatoes and peppers, but they also produce many others, such as

radishes, spring onions, lettuce, cauliflowers, Chinese cabbage, courgettes and sweetcorn. It is difficult to choose from such riches. Seewinkel vegetables are subject to “Integrated production” regulations and organic production is also of paramount importance here.
