The Höpler estate is located in Breitenbrunn. Wine production was originally based in Winden, but due to lack of space a large, modern winery was built in Breitenbrunn in 2004. The estate consists of 46 hectares on the slopes of the Leithaberg, producing 50% white wine, 45% red wine and 5% sweet wine. It exports 70% of its wines to the US, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Japan and Malaysia, with the USA being the biggest single market (the estate currently sells its wines in 35 American states). The estate also supplies top international chefs, such as Jamie Oliver’s “Fifteen” in London, Marco Pierre White’s “Marco’s”, also in London, Bobby Flay’s “Mesa Grill”, New York, and Petri Lukkarinen’s “Olo”, Helsinki and has won international awards from, amongst others, the International Wine Challenge, the awc Vienna Wine Challenge and MundusVini.

At Höpler’s Weinräume in Winden, in conjunction with three young artists, Christof Höpler has achieved his dream of creating a wine experience. Undertake your personal journey of wine discovery. Our eight wine chambers will stimulate all your senses and fill them with the subject of wine. You will experience wine’s colour and smell, sounds and flavours, taste it and be surprised by your own, unexpected preconceptions. For years every visitor to the Höpler estate has been impressed by the manor house’s unique atmosphere and its soul. The wine chambers have been carefully integrated into the historic house and now provide the stylish setting for a highly personal, sensuous “wine exploration”.
