BAD TATZMANNSDORF OPEN-AIR MUSEUM
Agricultural structures and thus the agricultural landscape have radically changed as a result of economic revolutions since the 1950s. Typical wooden structures, mostly still thatched and which had become redundant, vanished from the rural scene as buildings were converted or rebuilt. Southern Burgenland’s Bad Tatzmannsdorf Open-Air Museum displays residential and commercial buildings from the end of the 17th century to the start of the 20th.
