The south Burgenland town of Pinkafeld is known for its schools and university, but it has something to offer holidaymakers too, in the form of the main square and town hall, the former savings bank building and the parish church, which are definitely worth visiting. What was once Schloss Batthyány, formerly the stately home of the Batthyány family and now housing the School of Vocational Education, is interesting, as is the town’s oldest building, the Rindsmaullsche Gutshaus, which dates from the early 17th century. ​
