The goal was self-sufficiency and to make good organic wine, besides they wanted to make a conscious cotrapoint to industrial agriculture and give back a little space to nature.
They cultivate 3.5 hectares of vineyards, plus young olive groves, orchards, scrub and forest. Where possible, they give free rein to the wilderness; for example, hedges rich in structure grow along the edges of the vineyards to create space for endangered animals and plant species. When it is then screeching and flitting, chirping and quacking, the glass of wine in the evening is particularly fun!!!
