The canoe club Leitha Auen Neusiedler See has the aim to show all beginners how they can paddle on the Leitha and in the bays and canals of Lake Neusiedl or on the Danube without much effort and with a lot of fun.
Of course you can also get into a canoe without instruction and try to get further without technique. This will - especially in the beginning - work more badly than quite somehow. But if you want to have fun canoeing, you are well advised to have one of our guides or instructors, who have had a profund training, show you the basics.
The canoe club Leitha Auen Neusiedler See also addresses advanced canoeists who want to enjoy the adventure of a Leitha trip with professional assistance by a guide. Of course you can also go on the Leitha without a guide. This is not prohibited. But it is easier and more fun when accompanied by a guide. The guide knows the small pitfalls of the narrow river and also knows where you can rest, eat and drink. And - this is especially important - he also shows you the specialities of our unique nature.
