The pilgrimage church of the Assumption of Mary was built of solid masonry in 1762-1764 in place of a wooden church, which is said to have existed before 1680. It is a baroque building. The original saddleback tower had to be demolished in 1912 because of its great structural damage. The present church tower was built in 1932 with great effort of the population and was last renovated in 1994 and equipped with a tower clock.

The high altar dates back to the 2nd half of the 17th century and is considered a beautiful and valuable Baroque jewel by connoisseurs of culture and art. Unfortunately, the builder is not known. Church historians believe that the altar must be destined for another church, because it came to Ollersdorf only after the new construction (1762).
