A marshy forest area on the outskirts of Olbendorf is a cultural attraction. Trees and plants share the space with a wide variety of sculptures and objects. In the fairy-tale garden full of comic-like figures, Mühlbauer takes aim at human behavior with a wink. Narrow and delicate as they are, the figures need a tamed nature as an environment. The back part of the park is more luxuriant. Poems on electronic display panels underscore the poetry of the place.
The Art Park South has an area of about 3 hectares and is open from May to October.
