Birgit Braunstein is considered a pioneer of natural viticulture in Austria. In Purbach am Neusiedlersee, the passionate winemaker implements a holistic philosophy of harmony with nature, biodynamics and ecological balance. Their vineyards are places of biodiversity, green all year round, full of flowering herbs, buzzing insects and diverse fauna.
You can also feel this liveliness in their wines. They defy inner tension, are fresh, subtle and shaped by the soil on which they grow. Healthy vines produce vital grapes from which juicy, wonderfully complex and elegant wines are created spontaneously in the cellar without any additives. Wines that reflect the love of nature and harmony with nature. Birgit Braunstein takes a holistic approach - minerals, plants, animals and people form an overall system in which everything is connected to everything else. That's why not only Birgit's vineyards are organic reserves, but her entire winery is certified as a Green Care company. Birgit Braunstein is also a trained Qigong and yoga teacher.
