How to get here
The easiest way to get to Northern and Central Burgenland by car is via Vienna (via A1, A21, A3, or A4), and the most convenient route to Southern Burgenland is via Graz (via A10 and A2 or A9 and A2).
You can get to Burgenland from Vienna and Graz by bus or train.
(Car trip in the ÖBB Nightjet with sleeping car, couchette, or seat to Vienna from Villach, Innsbruck, Feldkirch, Düsseldorf, Hamburg Altona, Livorno Centrale - to Graz from Feldkirch).
From June 30 to September 2, there are direct routes from Salzburg to Lake Neusiedl via Linz, St. Pölten, and Vienna twice a day on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. A limited number of bicycles can be taken on the train with a reservation.

Many European cities fly to Vienna, Graz, or Bratislava several times a day. You can then continue your journey by rental car, train, or bus, as you wish.
