How to get here
The easiest way to get to northern and central Burgenland by car is via Vienna (via A1, A21, A3 or A4), and the most conveniently route to southern Burgenland is via Graz (via A10 and A2 or A9 and A2).
Starting from Vienna and Graz, you can get to Burgenland by bus or train.
(Car trip in the ÖBB Nightjet with sleeping car, couchette or seat to Vienna from Villach, Innsbruck, Feldkirch, Düsseldorf, Hamburg Altona, Livorno Centrale - to Graz from Feldkirch).
From June 30th to September 2nd there are direct travel options from Salzburg via Linz, St. Pölten and Vienna to Lake Neusiedl twice a day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. A limited number of bicycles can be taken on the train upon reservation.

You can fly to Vienna, Graz or Bratislava several times a day from many European cities. You can then travel on by rental car, train or bus, as you wish.
Many of the accommodation providers in Burgenland also offer pick-up services. Talk to your hosts, they will gladly make your way to a stay in the sun even easier.
