Burgenland has the longest golf season every year

It’s not only Austria’s largest golf resort here in Stegersbach that excites golf fans, there are well-kept greens on a total of 5 golf courses and special offers for children too.

It’s above all the 300 days of sunshine each year that allow golf to be played in Burgenland from the beginning of March to December.

Reiters Golf 72 in Southern Burgenland includes the golf courses in Bad Tatzmannsdorf and Stegersbach. The grounds are excellently equipped; besides championship courses, golfers can also expect practice facilities, such as Austria’s largest driving range in Bad Tatzmannsdorf. Some of the tee-off huts are heated, so you can tee off in any weather, and thanks to the floodlights you can play until late in the evening. Whether it’s a friendly round of golf or professional games, Bad Tatzmannsdorf provides the ideal setting. Professionals strive to help beginners and intermediate players develop their game and even have a good tip or two for experienced players.

There is also a golf area in Stegersbach that combines different levels of difficulty, ensuring an unforgettable experience. In addition to the perfect tee off, you should also take some time to look at the panorama, because the golf course is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Southern Burgenland. No matter whether it’s a challenging game or fun with the family – everyone will find what they are looking for here!

The sunny golf course in Lutzmannsburg is a public golf course that does not require a registration fee or a golfing license, and it is Europe’s first cross-border family and golf resort. You can learn how to hit the perfect tee shot on Hungarian soil.

The golf club in Donnerskirchen is located in open country between the foothills of the Leitha Mountains and the reed bed of Lake Neusiedl – with constant wind, plenty of water, and dense roughs making it a sporting challenge.

Between the floodplains of Feistritz and Lafnitz, there is even a 27-hole championship course at Thermengolfplatz Loipersdorf. The course presents sporting challenges to both beginners and those with a good handicap.

With 2,000 hours of sunshine each year, the golf season barely ends in Burgenland – when are you heading down to the green?
