"From Pachelbel to Rachmaninoff" - a Musical Journey through Europe

Classical music and social media may seem to contradict each other for many – however, the great pianist Vadim Chaimovich proves that this does not have to be the case: His interpretation of Frédéric Chopin’s Nocturne op. 9 No. 2 in E-flat major is among the most listened to classical recordings on YouTube worldwide, with 255 million streams. Vadim Chaimovich’s audio recordings have been used in several films and TV series, recently in the ARD crime film series "Nord bei Nordwest" (2021), in the Sky Original "Hausen" (2020), and in the successful series "Babylon Berlin" (2017 – 2022) by the German star director Tom Tykwer. The renowned and numerous award-winning pianist takes the audience of the Halbturn Castle Concerts on a musical journey through Europe and dedicates the exclusive piano evening to masterpiece works by Johann Pachelbel, Joseph Haydn, Frédéric Chopin, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Of course, his world-famous interpretation of Frédéric Chopin’s Nocturne in C minor, Op. 48 No. 1 will not be missing on this evening at Schloss Halbturn.
