One of the most interesting cultural monuments of the region is the former Pauline monastery and hermitage near Baumgarten, built in 1475. The renovated late Gothic monastery church is today the center of Marian devotion for the Croats of Burgenland. Croatian Fatima celebrations are held every 13th of the month from May to October.
On September 16, 2023, the famous Klosterkirtag with bilingual church services, a delicatessen market with specialties from the Rosalia-Kogelberg Nature Park, a fair, a morning pint with brass band music and guided tours of the monastery will take place again.
Also worth seeing is the winter lime tree planted in 1762 in front of the monastery, which has been designated as a natural monument.
