The Naturwinkel Saufuss is a middle station of the "Kornweg" in Minihof-Liebau. This facility showcases farm animals and rescues injured wildlife, providing care to help them recover and, if possible, return them to the wild.
The keeping of farm animals serves as a general illustration and is exemplary for good animal husbandry.
The Naturwinkel Saufuss was established in 2001 based on the ideas of its founders Gerti and Rudi Pilz. The animals housed here are privately owned by the Pilz family, whose team carries out the species-appropriate care of farm and wild animals on a voluntary basis.
Animal sponsorships are a crucial part of the ongoing funding.
Guided tours of the entire facility are only possible by prior telephone appointment. The area with farm animals is freely accessible.
