Not far from the Stoagupf, there is the famous Augenquelle, whose water is said to heal and reduce eye ailments. The water of the Augenquelle has been tested and found to have excellent drinking water quality. In the past, babies and young children with illnesses or disabilities were washed with the water from the Augenquelle. Since the water comes from deep within the earth, it always has a constant temperature – a great refreshment for anyone passing by.

"Stoagupf": A volcanic cone that was not only home to one of the oldest high-altitude settlements (Neolithic period) in Burgenland but also housed a "core fortress" with a simple wall-ditch system in the Middle Ages. Furthermore, the "Stoagupf" offers a beautiful observation platform by day and by night, overlooking a wonderful area.
