Martina and Rudi from 'Qu-Bio - Bio Hof Taunus' have been running an organic farm since 2014. For the two, organic is not just a seal, but a way of life! They have specialized in domestic animal breeds that are highly endangered by extinction, such as Mangalitsa and Turopolje pigs and Zackel sheep.
The sheep are kept outdoors in a species-appropriate manner. In summer they graze on lush, green meadows. In winter they are fed with the best, own hay. The pigs can romp around outdoors to their heart's content all year round, digging and wallowing in the mud to cool off in the summer, and are fed only the best, home-grown feed.
You can expect homemade bacon and sausages, wool products, horns and trophies.
