Bears, carp, sunflowers, or grandmothers – the thought gymnast Alfred Dorfer brings them all to the stage in his new solo piece "GLEICH" and tells a story with numerous narrative and temporal excursions. However, "GLEICH" is more than just a collection of characters and quirky moments. It is a confrontation with reality, a piece that raises questions and repeatedly makes the audience doubt. The thought gymnast Alfred Dorfer is legendary for his bitterly sharp humor and his merciless gaze and has found his personal style through a characteristic form of presentation that many regard as unparalleled. This opinion was also shared by jury members of the German Small Arts Prize, the German and Bavarian Cabaret Prize, with which he has been awarded, as well as the Swiss Cabaret Prize Cornichon. In addition, he has experience as an actor, author, director, and long-time late-night talker.
