Harro Pirch is one of the most influential personalities in the cultural life of Burgenland. As the founder of the legendary "Rabnitztaler Painting Weeks," he made his adopted home, Mittelburgenland, an international cultural meeting point.
His excellent reputation as a painter is primarily due to his characteristic landscape paintings. However, his work also includes many other previously little-shown roof, city, lake, and ship landscapes.
On the occasion of Harro Pirch's 85th birthday, the Landesgalerie honors the artist with a retrospective spanning 60 years of his creative work.
