ABOUT THE CONCERT
Joseph Haydn, the “father of the string quartet,” shaped this genre like no other, masterfully refining form, sound balance, and expression. The internationally renowned Minetti Quartet has passionately dedicated itself to Haydn's string quartets since its founding and has recorded its debut CD with Haydn quartets at the Liszt Center Raiding. The radiant “Sunrise” quartet and the famous “Emperor Quartet,” whose majestic “Emperor Anthem” is world-renowned, will be heard at the Baroque Haydn Days.
