In their first solo cabaret show, Eichberger and Nobody takes on various roles – bringing a whole microcosm to the stage that is as wonderfully quirky, contradictory, and human as life itself.
Behind the duo Eichberger and Nobody stands just one person: Barbara Eichberger – who is so versatile that it's hard to believe. With a lot of humor, a willingness to exaggerate, and a sharp eye for human peculiarities, she brings to life characters that are instantly recognizable: aspiring influencer Vanessa-Michelle, the grumbling janitor, welfare recipient Riccardo Gonzalez, the economics student Laurenz from a good family, or the prole gangster Bogo – each character is exaggerated yet oddly familiar.
The winner of the Burgenland Audience Award 2025 and the Cabaret Talent Show 2025 serves up a fireworks display of punchlines, skillfully bringing urban everyday culture, social friction, and human quirks to the stage with precise observation and sparkling wit.
“Community Building” is not a classic number cabaret, but a satirical tour through the social biotope of Austria. It is not about big political statements or moral finger-wagging, but about one thing: the best cabaret for entertainment. The audience is allowed to laugh and marvel – and for one evening becomes part of this witty and wild apartment world. Not only is there acting – the audience decides live what happens on stage. Improvisation and interaction are not optional, but part of the concept.
