Starting from November 20th, it will once again be Christmas time in the state capital Eisenstadt. The Advent season arrives and brings a contemplative and sociable atmosphere to the Eisenstadt Christkindlmarkt. Advent huts invite visitors to linger with food, drink, and handicrafts.
The Christkindlmarkt will be ceremoniously opened on Friday, November 20th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. with the switching on of the festive Christmas lights. From then on, the stall operators will open their windows daily, inviting guests to stroll and browse as well as to shop for beautiful gifts for the holiday: music, children's programs, and culinary delights make the Christkindlmarkt a sociable and atmospheric meeting point for the whole family.
