On the tour around the Castle of Schlaining, we explore the “nutritious surroundings” right outside our door. This time, the focus is on nature's offerings in early spring.
The themes will include the basics of bud botany, evergreen herbs, resin gum, and fresh wild herbs with particularly short harvesting windows. We will learn how to identify them safely, what nutrients they contain, and how they can be used.
There will be exciting stories from the plant world and practical tips for sustainable foraging.
The tour invites you to consciously perceive the diversity of nature and to discover its seasonal potential.
