The Esterházy family has left impressive traces in Eisenstadt – in buildings, garden art, and music. Our path leads from the former residence of the princely conductor Joseph Haydn past the Franciscan Church with the crypt of the majorat lords and further through the magnificent palace park. Afterwards, we proceed through the former quarter of the princely protected Jews to the Haydn Church on Oberberg, where the diverse activities of the princely family are also evident.
