The Austrian soprano Eva-Maria Schmid is an internationally renowned opera and concert singer who feels at home in both the Concert Hall Shanghai and the Golden Hall of the Musikverein. The exclusive song evening at Schloss Halbturn unfolds the enchanting facets of the romantic sound world of Clara and Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms, Gustav Mahler, and Richard Strauss. Eva-Maria Schmid will be accompanied by none other than the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Jimmy CB Chiang. Born in Hong Kong, Jimmy Chiang is an internationally recognized conductor and concert pianist. In 2013, he became the first Hong Kong conductor to be appointed as the music director of the Vienna Boys' Choir, a unique achievement in the choir's 500-year history and a special honor.
