The Neusiedler See area is one of the most important breeding areas for Greylag Geese in Europe. Their short flight distance and large numbers allow for unique insights into their behavior and family life. And this is not so different from humans in some respects.

From here, appropriate excursion points can be reached by car (own car not strictly necessary), but the excursion primarily takes place on foot.
