Kickoff on the Burgenland Trails
On March 21, 2026, at 09:00 AM, the cycling path in Langeck will be officially inaugurated, followed by a joint ride to Lockenhaus. At 10:00 AM, the official start signal will be given at Burgsee Lockenhaus for the event Kickoff on the Burgenland Trails. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program centered around mountain biking.
08:00 AM – 04:00 PM: Free use of Burgenland Trails
10:00 AM – 04:00 PM: Free bike shuttle (Note: last uplift from Lockenhaus/Burgsee and from Rechnitz/Badesee at 03:30 PM)

10:00 AM: Start signal for Kickoff on the Burgenland Trails
from 10:00 AM: E-bike rental and various exhibitors, bouncy castle and slide for little guests, food & drink from the Schaltwerk association
11:00 AM: Ride Out with Peter Mihalkovits - Meeting point Parking lot Passhöhe
01:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Photo point at Action Corner at Margarethenwarte
Program Rechnitz Badesee
11:00 AM – 03:00 PM: Active program for children: biking on the pump track, bouldering and archery, canoeing (subject to change)
12:00 PM: Opening of the new restaurant “Tiffany am See” at the bathing lake
At 10:00 AM, the kickoff on the railway cycling path will also start from Bad Tatzmannsdorf towards Rechnitz (shuttle buses return to Bad Tatzmannsdorf at 03:00 PM and 04:00 PM).
