On the Day of Monuments, historic sites across Austria open their doors free of charge for families, culture enthusiasts, and monument experts. The goal of this nationwide action day is to raise awareness for the preservation and careful maintenance of our cultural heritage.
In Kobersdorf, this day is dedicated to two significant buildings, whose history and function are closely tied to the area. A guided tour will vividly convey the cultural-historical significance of the former synagogue of Kobersdorf as well as the Kobersdorf Castle, which is located directly across.
The tour invites visitors to explore the different historical layers of both buildings, trace their varied usages over time, and discover their importance in the cultural memory of the region.
