The early summer creates an unparalleled play of colors in the landscape of Seewinkel. The botanical richness is no coincidence - a mosaic of habitats combined with extensive management transforms the steppe landscape of Seewinkel into a unique ecosystem.
Dive into the seemingly endless sea of flowers and give your eyes time to get used to the variety of colors: the bright yellow of the True Bedstraw or the deep purple of the Steppe Sage. Occasionally, you can discover the delicate pink of the thorny Restharrow and even the first sky-blue flowers of the Austrian Flax.
