The Duo Respiro - Alexander Yuzhanin and Yurii Tiulpin - a classical guitar duo from Eisenstadt, surprises in its concerts with great stylistic and tonal flexibility. Whether Rameau, Haydn, Granados, or Piazzolla - intimate musical moments meet fascinating and captivating guitar technique. Both musicians are also successful soloists on tour and can refer to numerous awards at international guitar competitions in Austria, Hungary, Serbia, and Italy. As Duo Respiro , the two guitarists won 1st prize at the national competition Prima la Musica 2025 and were also awarded the Jenő-Takacs Scholarship from the state of Burgenland. Their active concert activity as a duo includes performances at the Pink Ribbon Gala at Schloss Esterházy, at 60 Hours of Music on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Oberschützen Institute, as well as at gala concerts as part of the Guitar Festival Rust in 2025 and 2026. At the salon concert Strings Sounds in the Haydn House , the two musicians take us on a musical journey through the guitar repertoire of almost 4 centuries. Works by Rameau and Handel, Haydn and Giuliani to Granados, Albéniz, and Bellinati will be performed - solo and as a duo.
