This tour for people with limited mobility or guests who prefer a more leisurely approach makes the history of Schloss Esterházy accessible in all its depth and diversity – without climbing stairs between the exhibition levels. Using film and imagery, our guide conducts a live tour through the rooms of the castle, amusingly bringing to life the experience of court life with the princely family, introducing the artworks and highlights from the collections, and being available for questions. A “scent quiz” and items to touch complete this tour, which takes place entirely seated in one room. As part of the tour, the adjacent exhibition “Haydn Explosive” on the ground floor will be visited. Afterward, it is possible to explore the exhibitions at your own pace with the castle ticket.
