Around the World Guide Day, the Burgenland Austria Guides invite you once again to a varied and informative program at selected locations in Burgenland. As part of this special weekend, there will be a guided city walk in the Free City of Rust, focusing on the Protestant history of the town.
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:30 AM, participants will embark on an exciting discovery tour through the historic old town of Rust with guide Gerald Szivacz. Under the title “The Protestant Rust”, the development of the Protestant parish as well as significant sites and personalities will be the focus. Visitors will gain interesting insights into the religious and cultural shaping of the town.
The meeting point is the town hall at Conradplatz 1 in 7071 Rust.
Participation in the tour is free of charge. However, a voluntary donation of 5.00 euros per person is requested in favor of the Protestant parish of Rust.
