This year, the "Great Burgenland Tour" by ORF will take place for the tenth time, thus celebrating a special anniversary. The date is now set, and all interested parties are invited to join the hike.
Under the motto "7 Days, 7 Districts, 7 Adventures," it will kick off on Saturday, the 23rd of May 2026. Until Friday, the 29th of May 2026, participants can once again look forward to seven carefully selected routes filled with nature, tradition, customs, and regional cuisine.
Wednesday, 27th of May: Three Vineyards Circular Trail starting from Eisenberg (approx. 16 km)
- 9.00 a.m. Meeting point and breakfast at the nature park in Eisenberg an der Pinka (Wine Shop Eisenberg)
- 9.30 a.m. Start of the hike
- 10.45 a.m. Refreshment station Hoch Csater (Csaterberg)
- 12.00 p.m. Lunch break Klein Csater (Csaterberg)
- 3.00 p.m. Refreshment station Vineyard of Deutsch Schützen
- from 4.30 p.m. Wind down at the nature park in Eisenberg an der Pinka (Wine Shop Eisenberg)
Participation is free and at your own risk. The routes are designed as circular paths and are between 13 and 18 kilometers long. As usual, culinary and musical programs will be provided each day of the tour. In any weather!
