This year, the "great Burgenland Tour" by ORF is taking place for the tenth time, thus celebrating a special anniversary. The date is now set, and all interested parties are invited to join the hike.
Under the motto "7 days, 7 districts, 7 adventures," it starts on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Until Friday, May 29, 2026, participants can once again look forward to seven carefully selected routes featuring plenty of nature, tradition, customs, and regional cuisine.
Thursday, May 28: Neuberg (approx. 16 km)
- 8:30 a.m. Meeting point and breakfast in front of the fire station in Neuberg, Burgenland
- 9:00 a.m. Start of the hike
- 10:30 a.m. Refreshment station at the leisure facility Biotop Neuberg i.B.
- 12:00 p.m. Lunch break at the tennis club Neuberg Bergen
- 2:45 p.m. Refreshment station at Hubertus Chapel
- from 4:00 p.m. Wind-down before the fire station in Neuberg, Burgenland
Participation is free of charge and at your own risk. The routes are designed as circular courses and are between 13 and 18 kilometers long. As usual, culinary and musical programs are provided each day of the tour. Regardless of the weather!
