This year, the "great Burgenland Tour" of ORF takes place for the tenth time, celebrating a special anniversary. The date is now set, and all interested parties are invited to join the hike.
Under the motto "7 days, 7 districts, 7 adventures," it begins on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Until Friday, May 29, 2026, participants can look forward to seven carefully selected routes filled with nature, tradition, customs, and regional cuisine.
Friday, May 29: Eltendorf (route length approx. 13 km)
- 8:30 a.m. meeting point and breakfast in the Uhudler district in Eltendorf
- 9:00 a.m. start of the hike
- 10:30 a.m. refreshment station at the Zahling community center
- 12:15 p.m. lunch break at Kirchenwirt Mirth in Eltendorf
- from 3:30 p.m. closing event in the Uhudler district in Eltendorf
Participation is free and at one's own risk. The routes are designed as circular paths and range between 13 and 18 kilometers in length. In the usual manner, culinary and musical programs will be provided each day of the tour. Regardless of the weather!
