The ORF Burgenland invites you this year from May 23 to 29, 2026, to the popular public hike "The Great Burgenland Tour." Under the motto "7 Days, 7 Districts, 7 Adventures," there is again the opportunity to discover the landscape and diversity of the country.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the Great Burgenland Tour will stop in Deutschkreutz (approx. 17.5 km). As part of the tour through the beautiful landscape, there will be a colorful program and delicious treats from the region.

08:30 AM: Meeting point and breakfast in the schoolyard of the Mittelschule Deutschkreutz
09:00 AM: Start of the hike
10:00 AM: Refreshment station Christihimmelfahrt Chapel
11:30 AM: Lunch break Weinbergweg
02:00 PM: Refreshment station Windpark
03:00 PM: Refreshment station at Girmer Waldhütte
04:00 PM: Musical conclusion with "Hannes Top Music" in the schoolyard of the Mittelschule Deutschkreutz
