The art of Paul Achs is to not invent the characters of his wines but to passionately and dedicatively draw out what nature has given. Paul Achs does this so extraordinarily well that he is considered a shooting star among the winemakers from his region. He is now one of the world's great masters of the grape variety Blaufränkisch.

The winemaker himself puts it even more precisely:

"Our vines grow where we have known every location, every row, and every plant for decades. Each soil, each grape variety, each vintage brings its own character – and it is exactly this that we want to bring into the glass. Unadulterated, precise, and with the patience that great wines require.

We work biodynamically – not as a trend, not to follow a stylistic label, but out of conviction. For us, it’s about the interplay of variety, soil, and location. Biodynamics is our tool to articulate this interplay as clearly as possible.

We do not seek the loud, the showy. Rather, we seek the fine, the balanced – wines that still bring joy after ten or twenty years."

On this evening, we will taste 13 wines from the winery, and the winemaker himself will be on-site to present us with his top wines!
