In 1922, a triangular pyramid-shaped memorial stone was erected at the summit, which at that time was a symbol of the three Habsburg successor states.
In Slovenia, it is also registered as a cultural monument.
After the fall of the Iron Curtain and the EU accession of Hungary and Slovenia, the site developed into a joint memorial for mutual understanding among peoples.
