The first artificially designed lake in Burgenland was built between 1962 and 1964 and is located in the Faludital. It is 300 m long, 100 m wide and a maximum of 7 m deep. The entire area is over 5 hectares.
The lake is fed by springs on the southern slope of the Geschriebenstein and has excellent water quality.
In the bathing lake buffet with a seating terrace on the south bank and at the snack stand on the north bank, guests are pampered with cool drinks, ice cream specialties and culinary delicacies directly on the water.
The youngsters bustle around the water slide, on the sun island, at the diving tower (jump heights of 3 and 5 meters) and on the large swing world.
Pedal boats, a children's playground, a skating court, a table tennis table and a beach volleyball court are also available for sporting activities.
There is also a camping site for tents, caravans and campers right on the lake grounds. The town center with its numerous shops can be easily reached in ten minutes.
