“We do not inherit the earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children.”
For over 30 years, BIOWEINGUT HEIDEBODEN has followed this guiding principle and takes on a pioneering role in organic viticulture as one of the first members of “BIO AUSTRIA”.
Working in harmony with nature is a matter of course for the family business. Martin Kaintz combines lived tradition with new, contemporary ideas.
Frauenkirchen am Heideboden:
Located in the heart of the northern Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee, the popular pilgrimage site of Frauenkirchen is found. The wines from Heideboden are shaped by the Pannonian climate and the light, sandy gravel-black earth soils.
The term “Heideboden” describes a not clearly defined area surrounding the municipality of Frauenkirchen, which is bordered by the Parndorfer Plateau to the north, the Hansag to the south, and the Seewinkel to the west.
A visit to the winery is possible by prior telephone appointment!
