The traditional family business has been vinifying wine for five generations.
The vineyards thrive on the Csaterberg in the Southern Burgenland wine idyll. The opal and slate-rich soil has a special influence on the quality of the wine. The vineyards are located on the south and southeast slopes, while the north and west are covered with forests, providing natural protection against cold northern winds. The nearby Georgssee creates an optimal microclimate.
On 4.5 ha of vineyard area, fruity white wines – Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Weissburgunder, Gelber Muskateller and Sämling 88 – as well as the red wines Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Merlot are grown.
The wines, as well as homemade specialties, can be enjoyed at our Buschenschank on Hochcsater.
