The Franz Hauswirth Ges.m.b.H. was founded in 1949 as a confectionery in Vienna and primarily produced chocolate figures such as Easter bunnies and Santa Clauses. Over the years, the company evolved into an industrial manufacturer of sweets and relocated its headquarters to Kittsee. The range now includes chocolate bananas, rum balls, and confectionery, as well as jelly products and much more. The dark chocolate and milk chocolate used for this purpose is produced by the company itself, making it one of the few businesses in Austria to do so. Countless tons of chocolate are processed into delicious sweets each year.
