Fresh fish from the Seewinkel available year-round
We are a farming operation in the Seewinkel in northern Burgenland specializing in fish processing. Here, you can get high-quality fish from the national park available year-round.
Our pond facility consists of eight ponds with a total water surface area of around four hectares. Due to the special location in the middle of the national park, our ponds are free from the influence of agricultural pesticides and fertilizers. Our pond dikes are maintained by our organic Zackel sheep herd.
Currently, our pond facility consists of three growth ponds, each one hectare, a breeding pond with 3,600 m², two winter ponds with 1,200 m² each, and a holding pond with 400 m².
The crayfish breeding is currently being established. A pond with 3,600 m² is being adapted for crayfish breeding and divided into five smaller basins using wooden walls.
