The Gerstner K. u. K. Court Confectioner Show is a culinary time travel into the traditional world of Viennese pastry art, introducing visitors to the secrets of making Viennese apple strudel. In the historically enchanting atmosphere of the Gerstner bakery in Schönbrunn Palace, the art of baking apple strudel is celebrated. Under the guidance of our experienced strudel bakers, stories, techniques, and recipes unfold surrounding one of the most famous Austrian pastry classics.
In addition to the baking show itself, the Gerstner K. u. K. Court Confectioner offers the opportunity to sample more delicacies from the bakery in the café-restaurant. The historically recreated interior with its elegant ambiance transports visitors back to the time of the Habsburg monarchy.
