What makes the Gumhalter pastry shop special are its handmade baked goods and ice cream specialties, freshly prepared every day. Whether it's fine apple strudel, creamy cakes, or fruity pastries – here, the craft of confectionery is still lived with heart and skill.
A special highlight is the homemade ice cream, available in over 40 varieties. From classics like chocolate and vanilla to unique creations like Uhudler ice, buttermilk or sour cream ice cream, up to vegan options – there is something for every taste. Those who want to get creative can conveniently assemble their personal ice cream sundae via tablet.

Gumhalter is particularly proud of the homemade gingerbread according to grandfather's original recipe – a piece of lived tradition, refined with regional ingredients depending on the season, reflecting a deep connection to the region.

The establishment offers 120 indoor seats and 50 sunny spots on the terrace, providing ample space to recharge after a bike ride and gain new energy with a cup of coffee or a glass of regional apple juice. The cozy atmosphere makes the stay particularly inviting – whether for a short break or a longer respite in the four guest rooms.

For groups, exciting ice cream tours through the in-house production are available upon request – including tasting. For just € 10.00 per person, visitors gain insight into the sweet world of ice cream production and, of course, get to enjoy the freshly made ice cream.
