They are called Diego, Luis, James, and Chupa, and they love hiking through the Leithagebirge and to the Leitha wetlands. These four llama stallions live in Hornstein and make hiking through the region a very special experience. Together with trained llama guides and the twice Austrian llama trekking champion Robert Trapichler, they set off from Hornstein through the Leithagebirge. The highest peak, the Sonnenberg with its observation tower, is also a part of the llama hike.
Equally, the wild-romantic floodplain landscape along the River Leitha can be experienced together with these sociable animals. Upon request, the llamas are happy to travel to any other meeting point in the region. Due to their gentle nature, llamas can also be easily led by children and are ideal hiking companions for young and old.
