The impressive townhouse from the year 1675 stands at the highest point of the idyllic city center of Rust.

The last owner, Rudolf Kremayr - co-founder of the renowned Donauland publishing house, renovated this house and donated it along with his extensive art collection to the Free Town of Rust in 1986.

Furthermore, the house showcases the history of the city of Rust with the city elevation certificate, the execution sword, and much more.
The wine cellar of the house presents the finest wines from the Free Town of Rust and its partner city Tokaji.

Various exhibitions and events take place in the idyllic courtyard and the wine cellar.
