If you appreciate down-to-earth, creative cuisine with fresh, regional ingredients and without unnecessary frills, you are in good hands at Gasthaus Leeb. Here, you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Like with friends. Etepetete is for others. Live and let live.
Gasthaus Leeb in Schützen am Gebirge has a decades-long tradition: Founded in 1954 by Mathias Leeb, he passed it on to his son, master butcher Günther, in 1974, who, from that point on, took care of the culinary well-being of the locals with his beloved Rosi. In 2006, son Christian took the reins and now, with his parents' support, brings fresh ideas to the family business. After all, the quick-witted master chef has enough experience, having not only served prominent guests at places like Hotel zur alten Post in Ischgl and on the luxury liner MS Astor, but also cared for his fellow humans at the Munich Oktoberfest and as a military chef in Albania: “Cooking 140 kilograms of pasta at 40 degrees in the shade was quite a challenge.”
Christian, also known as “Luv,” showcases his talent not only at the family restaurant but also as “MeetLuv” - a unique catering service in the form of a charming food truck. As part of Schmankerlwirte Burgenland, Meet Luv focuses on quality, sustainability, and responsible enjoyment.
